Choices

Not long time ago, I have talked about Nicholas Sparks’s novel title, “The Choice”. It is a very aspiring novel base on choices that we have to make in order to move forward. WELL, it is a romantic love story kind a thing but still it is about choices.

Days by days, we are facing some decision to be made. Usually, we have few options or choices before we succumb to one final choice. I take myself for example, when I’m at work sometimes I have quite a number of tasks to be done with. But as a typical human with no super power, I can’t get things done simultaneously. Therefore, I have to prioritize things, which is more important then I choose to settle it first. However, one should always remember, we can’t always choose. There are things in life where we don’t have a choice. And not to forget, not all people have the power to choose.

I take people in poverty for example; they do not have the opportunity to choose. They just have to be content in whatever life provided them. Their life is not heavenly as us lucky people who have a house to live and foods to keep us alive. My grandmother use to say, even us the one with all the money is very picky when it comes to foods, clothes, cars and etc. but what about those people in poverty, are they picky as well?? Well, that question is actually a slap to my face. *pang* Regretly to say, I am picky..not only on foods but in life too. That is why; I consider myself not a very good person because I have too many flaws. T_T

Choices made who we are today. We are what we choose to be. That is why, not all people are saint and not all people are devilish. I chose to be good but it is not easy to be good. If it is easy, I bet most people in the world are good but sadly to say, there are lots of monsters out there with a human façade.

Sometimes, choices also were made due to pressures. Like I said earlier, not all people have the liberty to choose everything they want. I had encountered the same problem over and over again. Why??? Because my mum way over protective. Not that she is a control freak, but she just love to maneuver her children life a bit. Honestly, I do like when my mum intervenes in my choices at least I know, no matter what choices I made; she will be a part of it. But there are times I feel a bit annoyed when I do not have the chance to make my own choices. However, by the end of the days, mother knew better..I guess you better stick with your mum even though people might call you a mummy’s girl/boy. What’s important is, at the end of the day you don’t get burn by your choices.

I think I was inspired to talk about choices due to a blog written by En Fuad. LOL~

As a human myself, sometimes we tend to take granted for all choices that we made without even realized that our choices are actually define us. Instead of being mad at other people, maybe I should reflect upon myself and figure out my own weakness. Biasalah, sebagai manusia..Sometimes we do see other people’s flaws without even notice ours. And yes, karma does happen…..

Okay, time to choose…To eat or not to eat??

i think what's important is, choices made us..so..xkisah la good or bad, yg ptg..accept all the consequences with an open arm..

remember, we cn only wish to turn back time, but d fact is..we must make do with wht ever we choose..life must goes on..;)
