Debate

So, yesterday one of the most anticipating debate was up in Awani right??So, how was it??And what is your opinions base on last night debate??

Well, yesterday actually I was quite occupied with my pretty boy Chang Min..hee~Ya, I watched Korean drama last night instead of watching the debate itself. But, looking at my twitter timeline, most people are actually ramblings on the debate itself so okayla..without any further do, I watched it too with my mum. Kindly be informed that my mother & her siblings love to talks about politics. Not that they officially involved in it but they just love to have discussions on politics. And if you were to come across my house every Friday night you will eventually heard all the loud noise came from a very hot discussions between my mum and her siblings. Ya, they are loud people and I can say that they were naturally born as a lawyer. LOL~ Sorry mama, acik & cu. *wink*

My thoughts on last night debate??

Hurrmmm…finally, I got quite a clear picture on why they want to abolish the PTPTN. Ok cool, they do have quite strong points on why they want to abolish PTPTN. Previously, yes..I am against it because I believe that our Malaysian people don’t deserve a free education. Ok wait!! Don’t be mad..let me tell you why….

Almost 27 years of my life, I guess I can see that Malaysian people tend to take things for granted unless if they work for it. I think generally we can see that people will appreciate more when they have to work for it. By giving a free education or spoon fed, people will never learn or know how hard it is to actually earn a Ringgit. Nowadays, if you want to have a good pay you have to work for it. Need I remind you that nothing is free in this world. I take Love for example, love is free that is why lots and lots of human being out there take love for granted. What will happen if we have to pay for love??I bet most of us will actually limit our self to actually falling in love less than 2 times kot?? Hee..

However, by listening to Rafizi last night, it practically opens my eyes a bit. By abolish PTPTN, the oppositions have already prepared a plan to remodeling/restructuring the current loan to our students. I am agree with some of his points last night. By giving a loan to student is good but years by years, the amount of money giving out to our student have increase and the amount paid back by the students are critically lower . I think put all the blame on us the former students I guess, I am actually owed PTPTN about 5K at least (including interest). When to pay??I have already ask PTPTN to cut it off from by EPF but unfortunately they haven’t done it yet which is quite surprised because it has been more than a year since I last applied. Hurrmm….I think the problem is not the system. The system is right but there are definitely something fishy inside the PTPTN itself. And, PTPTN should be more proactive. That is why people are always looking down at any government sectors because you guys just don’t know how to get your work done. Sorry to say….

And I am a bit upset with KJ last night, when you were supposed to debate about on a single issue, you should just focus on that particular issue. Don’t go attack on the political belief because as far as we concern, both of you are with different party. What the government want to do about this PTPTN is good, but come on laaa..this issue has been raise up years ago when I’m still a student myself kot. Many people have already suggested to government to actually abolish the interest. The interest is not necessaries kot, PTPTN is not a financial institution. They are just an institution to help our students. Let us pay the principal loan minus the interest. I think that is fair and square.

But, if the opposition can make an educational free for Malaysia, it is good but kindly look at both aspects. By the end of the day, I do hope that whatever the solution is, please ensure that we produce a qualified mahasiswa and not those who entered university for free and learn nothing from it. It is indeed a risk taken by the opposition actually. But if they succeed then a big standing ovation is up for them.

If you ask me, do whatever you think good for us the citizen and country not for your own personal comfort.

So, whom am I supporting last night?? Frankly, I like the way Rafizi voice up his opinions and the way he brought up all the facts. Cuma, I am a bit terkilan when he brought up that Petronas money issue during Pak Lah administration because to me, that one is way out of the topic. Don’t attack someone on personal when you are debating about other thing. Same goes with KJ too, most of time he does deviate from the topic which is can actually affect his credibility as a speaker. Hurrmm..so being an Oxford student is not that freaking awesome pun ya??LOL~ *joking*

Ok bye nak makan pisang goring!!

fuuhhhh... memakan masa jugak nak mendengar keseluruhan debat......

sekalung tahniah kepada saudara rafizi... jelas dan meyakinkan..

saya kalau masuk debat pun, mmg suka jadi pembangkang.. bila jadi pihak kerajaan, seolah2 terpaksa menegakkan benang yg basah..

saya lihat, pasti isu debat melibatkan perkara yg salah dimata pembangkang.. dan yg melakukan kesalahan kebiasaannya pihak kerajaan kerana merekalah yg sedang mentadbir... (",)

fuad: Yes, sy setuju dgn awk fuad..;)

itulahh..bukan sng utk menjadi pemerintah, di mata rakyat..anda perlu telus...masalah nya, byk sgt hanky panky dlm kerajaan itu sendiri...slh org lain dicari, tp slh sendiri ditutupi..hurmm...macam mana tu??
